Building People-centred Enterprises in Latin America: second report on cooperatives in development released

Cooperatives Europe releases today its latest publication “Building People-Centred Enterprises in Latin America and the Caribbean – Cooperative Case Studies”. The document showcases 20 best practices, from renewable energy to quinoa cultivation, from handicraft to credit unions. It highlights the ability of cooperatives to provide services of common interest, generate innovation and solidarity, improve livelihoods via fair trade and environmental initiatives, and provide financial inclusion.

On the 11th of December, Cooperatives Europe, with President Jean-Louis Bancel, participated to the high-level launch of the first Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) training certificate, hosted by Sciences Po university - School of Public Affairs -  in Paris.

Cooperatives Europe, together with the iCareCoops project consortium, has released a new “Foundation Guide” – a guidebook to support the creation of innovative older people’s care cooperatives.

On 11th of December, Cooperatives Europe released a Cooperative Call to Action on the Future of Europe to unlock the potential for a wider cooperative economy across Europe.

Cooperatives Europe releases today its latest publication “Good practices in international cooperative development: Why creating a knowledge sharing culture is key for international cooperative development work”. Alongside, a brochure has been released capturing the key features of the research.

Today, Cooperatives Europe released its vision paper titled ‘A cooperative vision for the collaborative economy.’ The publication was presented at the conference by the same name at the European Parliament, hosted by MEP Nicola Danti (Rapporteur on Collaborative Economy) and Cooperatives Europe.
