European Economic and Social Committee (99 rue Belliard – 1040 Brussels – Room JDE 63). Active interpretation will be provided in English, French and Italian. Registration is compulsory. For more information, please contact Helen Robinson at the CECOP secretariat (email@example.com).
This conference will be an opportunity to present best practices of social cooperatives (or equivalents) across Europe and to find out what contributed to their development. We will link social cooperatives on the one hand and the European Commission’s Social Business Initiative on the other.
This debate comes at a very important moment, with the European Commission initiative, and when we have just celebrated the 20thanniversary of the Italian law on social cooperatives and 10th anniversary of French “SCIC” (Collective Interest Cooperative Societies) law.
