The Europe #coops4dev🌍 Roadmap is Set—Now It’s Your Turn! 

The Europe #coops4dev🌍 roadmap is set, and you can take advantage of the opportunities to bring it to life. The theme “Circular economy for a just twin transition” will guide most European activities under this international partnership.  

Cooperatives Europe’s commitment to Gender Equality & Diversity and Youth will be fully integrated into its international development work. This means that all members can benefit from #coops4dev🌍 funding while actively co-shaping its activities. 

Here’s how members can get involved: 

• Join the CEDP thematic meetings – Share your expertise with Cooperatives Europe’s development organisations (CEDP members) and learn from their global impact. Your insights will strengthen our engagement with EU institutions to promote cooperatives in the EU’s External Action Agenda. 

• Co-design cross-regional activities – Support our joint work on cooperative development  with the other ICA regions to develop global initiatives, such as housing with Asia-Pacific, care economy with the Americas, or agri-finance with Africa. 

• Help build a stronger cooperative narrative – Share your best practices and support awareness-raising in regions where cooperatives are less common or not yet recognised, such as the Western Balkans and Eastern partner countries. 

Most importantly, #coops4dev🌍 acts as a magnifier of your impactful work globally. If you believe one or more of your activities could be scaled up or replicated in another country or continent, we want to hear from you! 

Let’s showcase how cooperatives contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals while learning from cooperative movements worldwide.
