In its report released on February 28th, 2017, “An agenda for the modernization of higher education”, the European Commission acknowledged the lack of an entrepreneurship approach, and more concretely a cooperative entrepreneurship approach, within the Higher Education context. . The Coop4EDU project successfully addressed this gap, by XXX

Key achievements include increasing competencies of Higher Education lnstitutions (HEIs), a better access to educational material on cooperative entrepreneurship, and a set of methodologies and activities to promote inter- and transdisciplinary approaches.

The ICA-EU Partnership (#coops4dev) signed its second Framework Partnership Agreement in 2024, focusing on sustainable and inclusive development across 91 countries. Cooperatives Europe will lead activities in communication, advocacy, and research, strengthening ties with EU institutions.

CO-FRESH

The CO-FRESH project, funded by Horizon 2020 and led by CNTA, aimed to create sustainable fruit and vegetable value chains across Europe. With 26 partners from 10 countries, the project developed and piloted innovative approaches to improve the economic, social, and environmental sustainability of agri-food chains, using both technological and non-technological solutions. Seven pilot cases tested these innovations to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
