DigiSE5.0

We are part of DigiSE5.0, a European Erasmus+ project that helps Social Economy (SE) educators and students gain the digital skills they need to lead change in a rapidly evolving world.

Through innovative teaching tools, collaborative learning spaces, and hands-on experiences, DigiSE5.0 supports the digital transformation of the Social Economy sector – a growing part of the economy focused on people, communities, and sustainability.

What the Project Does

DigiSE5.0 is all about giving educators and students the confidence, tools, and support to use digital technologies for social good. The project develops:

  • Practical training for university educators so they can teach digital skills in an engaging, future-focused way.
  • A brand new curriculum designed with and for students in social economy fields – creative, flexible, and challenge-based.
  • Local Digital Value Creation Labs (DVCLabs) – real-world learning spaces where students, educators, and social entrepreneurs work together on meaningful digital projects.
  • A short-term Accelerator Programme to test and improve the curriculum across several countries.
  • Online resources and tools for ongoing learning, including webinars, a MOOC (online course), and a digital “DigiHub”.

Who’s Involved

The project brings together partners from across Europe who care about education, innovation, and social impact:

When

September 2024 – February 2027

Why it Matters

Digital tools offer huge potential for creating social value – but many educators and students still lack access to relevant training. DigiSE5.0 helps close that gap by providing fresh, practical learning experiences that connect universities with real-world changemakers.

Together, we’re shaping the next generation of digitally-savvy social entrepreneurs.
