What is this webinar about?

This webinar is the first episode of the dialogue series “The Power of Cooperation in Advancing a Human Rights Economy in Crises”. We will discuss the link between the cooperative business model and the concept of “Human Rights Economy”.  

The session will bring together partners and stakeholders to discuss European examples of cooperatives facilitating reconciliation and creating shared economic goals in times of division and crisis.

The Dialogue also marks the end of Cooperatives Europe’s campaign against Gender-Based Violence in the framework ofthe 2025 UN Women’s Orange the World Campaign.

About the Series
 

“The Power of Cooperation in Advancing a Human Rights Economy in Crises” is a five-part dialogue series organised under #coops4dev🌍, running until mid-2026. 

With the UN International Year of Cooperatives (IYC25) entering its final month, the first dialogue will take place on December 10th   on UN Human Rights Day.  The series will reflect on the role of cooperative enterprises in reconciliation, reconstruction, and sustainable development across Europe.
