๐Ÿ“… 16 September 2025, 16 October 2025ย ย

About the event

๐ŸŒCaring Cooperatively: Euro-American Dialogues on a People-Led Care Economy๐ŸŒŽ is a mini webinar series to bridge political dialogue with regional and global institutions and exchange best practices among cooperatives across Europe and the Americas to raise awareness on diverse national and regional cooperative approaches to the care sector.ย

Through intercontinental case studies, peer-to-peer technical exchanges, and cross-sectorial dialogues, the two webinars will position the cooperative care economy as an effective people-led alternative to market-led care systems, with a cross-sectorial impact.ย

Each webinar will host a dialogue among policy and cooperative practitioners in the care economy, followed by a Q&A participatory moment with the online audience. Simultaneous interpretation in English and Spanish will be made available, and the meetings recorded for further dissemination and follow-up activities.ย

The 2-episode webinar series is organised by Cooperatives Europe and Cooperativas de las Amรฉricas under #coops4dev๐ŸŒ (ICA-EU Partnership) in the framework of the second-ever UN International Year of Cooperatives (IYC2025). ย
