Save the date – Cooperatives Europe’s 20th Anniversary Celebration

In October 2026, we will mark a major milestone: 20 years of Cooperatives Europe. 

For two decades, we have worked together to strengthen cooperativism and champion the “People First” model across the continent. Building on the momentum of the International Year of Cooperatives 2025, this anniversary we want to celebrate all that we have managed to build together over the past years with you. We will also take this opportunity to look towards the future.

We invite you to join us for a special celebration and high-level dialogue in Brussels in the European Economic and Social Committee “Cooperatives Europe’s 20th Anniversary: What’s the Next Chapter towards Economic Democracy?”.

• A look back at our shared history.
• Presentation of our first-ever Anniversary Awards where we will put in the limelight cooperative achievements!
• High-level discussions with cooperatives, EU policymakers and our partners on the role of cooperatives as a strategic asset in Europe’s economy.
• .. and of course, an all-inclusive reception with… cake!
